They do not accept cash payments since it is very risky to send money through mail. That may cause a problem to both Wal-Mart.com and the consumer.
* Wal-Mart Credit Cards
The Wal-Mart Credit Cards has two different affinity cards to choose from. Wal-Mart.com accepts both Wal-Mart Discover and Wal-Mart Credit Card which essentially have similar benefits. The only difference is that the Wal-Mart Discover can also be used at any place where Discover Network is acknowledged. * Wal-Mart Gift Cards and Online Gift Cards
Not all Wal-Mart Gift Cards are credited by Wal-Mart.com. To purchase at the site using these gift cards, it should have a PIN located at the back of the gift-card in the bottom right corner under the silver scratch off area. If you will be using Wal-Mart Online Gift Cards, the PIN is located at the first e-mail sent to you along with your card number. There is a need for you to enter gift card PINs for security purposes. * BillMeLater
Using this mode of payment, anybody can purchase online commodities at Wal-Mart.com without the hassle of giving your credit card number or account number. Simply choose BillMeLater at the checkout. You need to input your name, address, phone number, date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number You will be having monthly statements for the products you purchase. You may also be able to organize your BillMeLater account and pay it online
* Credit cards
Wal-Mart.com accepts only credit cards issued by U.S. Banks which includes Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Wal-Mart Discover. You need to give the following information such as: credit card type, credit card number and expiration date, your name, address and phone number like it appears on your credit card statements. Wal-Mart.com does not accept credit cards from non-U.S. banks.
* Debit cards
These are also called ATM cards, banking cards or check cards. The debit cards that are accepted are only those with Visa or Mastercard logo in it.
